Most of this garden is climate science and the computing that supports it. This map collects the smaller set of notes that sit outside both and still earn their place, because they changed how I read evidence rather than what I know about the atmosphere.
The through-line is a suspicion of categories that absorb a judgment and then travel without it. That is Amrhein and colleagues on statistical significance in one register and Voltaire on the scale at which killing becomes ceremony in another, and it is why both notes live in the same map despite two and a half centuries between them.

Where this connects
Vervaeke’s relevance problem is the human-side version of what a knowledge graph and its metadata schema try to fix mechanically, which is the subject of the open science and knowledge graphs map. The argument against thresholds runs directly into statistics and inference, where statistical inference and information criteria carry it further.
